    I know. I'm boring you :(
but .... I don't know the carvin, not tried it yet.
    Soooooo ....
better a Carvin Lb 76? or a Soundgear (or btb) 6 string?

  2. Yikes, I'd say neither one. I've heard more negatives about both basses than I have positive.

The Ibanez BTB 6 stringer is probably the best choice for the $.

  3. Alla,
I don't have any six string basses, but I own Carvin and Ibanez 4 strings. Dollar for dollar, the Carvin is by far the better bass. Looks better, plays better, sounds better. I've recieved many compliments on the sound of the Carvin and none on the Ibanez sound, played through the same rig.The Carvin construction is awesome, all controls are circuit board mounted and the control cavity is immaculate. Also, I am biased toward neck-through basses. The Ibanez is a good bass for the money, I just prefer to play the Carvin.

  4. Why limit yourself to those 2 choices?
