Well another one of my amps needing to go due to down sizing. I'm selling my Carvin PB200 Pro Bass 200 Combo Bass Amp. It is 160 Watts bridged with a 15 inch woofer and a high frequency driver with crossover. It has an EQ and a compressor with gate. This amp sounds great with a lot of punch and is the perfect size for playing clubs or bars. It is not too heavy or too large to move from gig to gig. Super clean with only a couple of minor nicks or marks. I am the second owner and have used it for practices only. Please check out the pictures for more details. Giving this away for only $160 plus shipping. Message me with any questions. Thanks! IMG_2370.JPG IMG_2372.JPG IMG_2373.JPG IMG_2371.JPG IMG_2374.JPG IMG_2375.JPG

Wow!!! I used to have one of those. First bass amp "I" purchased back in '98. Was a fine small gig amp. Needed more bough so I bought the Cyclops. Ah memories.

Hi there. Couple questions. Is this amp from the late 90's? I think I saw one about 19 years ago in Oregon while travelling.
How's the bass response? The cab looks pretty small for that 15" woofer.
    Nice looking amp!

Yes, I believe it is from the late 90s. I bought it used so don't know the exact date of manufacture. It actually sounds very nice. I've had other combos like the Hartke Kickback and the Peavey TNT and this thing sounds superior. It can get a nice growl like my GK 1001RB-II, but obviously with a bit less power. I tried an external preamp with it and the volume could get much higher than the amp could do on it's own and the 15" woofer showed no signs of being pushed. The bass response is very good and what you would expect from a 15. Also the high frequency driver helps to keep the higher notes from sounding muffled or muddy.

An old friend had one of these (probably still does). The tone was quite nice. When paired w/an extension speaker, it could get some booty going!

This thing sounds great and it is now under $200. I could see how an extension cabinet would increase the volume, but it does very well on it's own.

If I'm not mistaken I believe Bob Babbitt is seen playing one in the "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" DVD.
My 12" version served me well for quite some time.
For $175 it's more than worth it.
