I'll be ordering a Carvin R1000 amp tuesday, and i'v done search and everything, and have come up with a lot of good comments about it. Does anyone have any more comments on it? Also, a few questions... On the right side, there is the master volume, and (Amp1) (Amp2), (Amp1) says low gain, (Amp2) says high gain... What does that mean?? thanks----------
I seem to be reading low freq and high freq on a picture of the amp, I'm guessing that it amplifies high frequencies on a different part of the power amp than the low frequencies, which would make them both clearer and more adjustable? actually I shouldn't post because I'm just guessing, but those are my 2 cents
Those are for when you select to BIAMP. Your R1000 will send low and high frequencies to sepperate power amps. There is an adjustable knob to determine the cut off frequency, which can go as low as 200hz. When biamping, you can do up to 500w / channel @ 2 ohms.
