I am looking at powering a 2x10 and 1x15 with the R600. How is the reliability? My other thought was SWR Workingman's 4004. I play in a church that holds about 500 to 750 people on at a normal service.

If I were you, I would go ahead and spend the extra money for a R1000. I played through an R1000 for a few years, and never had any reliability problems at all. I just recently sold it, and the guy who bought it loves it.

The r600 will probaly be plenty loud, plus churches usueally have good acoustics. I guess it wouldent hurt to have the extra watts, though.

They are very very solid, prety versitile, dependable amps. The tone is o.k, but theyre very solid. Especially if you keep it in the case carvin sells it in.
