There's an indentical bass branded as Aria, Pan and/or Diamond. Maybe others too. Early 70s Japanese. And nothing in common with other Epiphones, though it's a very fun bass to play.
Mine is the Pan. And I found a dreadnought acoustic case that fits it nicely.
  2. +1. I use a dreadnought acoustic (TKL) case for my '65 Rivoli and it works well. Your Epi should be close in size. A Jack Cassady case might work.
  3. BTW I have the guitar version of this bass and hope to add the bass version to the herd one day. Matsomoku (sp) built these in early '70s.
  4. Ah, never thought about an acoustic guitar case, thanks!

A big electric guitar case can fit, too. I have the same thing with a "Lyle" label, and keep it in a nice Epiphone "Dot Sheraton Casino" case (that's what they called it anyway.) It's very tight, but I think that's probably good.

I have an Epiphone EA260 which I think is pretty much the same bass. I just checked and it fits nicely in my Epiphone branded Jack Casady hard case..
  7. Wow, thanks a lot, that's what I wanted. Yes, the bass is pretty much the same bass. Could you maybe send me a private message with a picture of the bass inside the case? That would be great!
