I know several of you own both Rics and Fenders.

Will a Rickenbacker fit into a SKB-type hard shell case designed for a Jazz or a Precision? My Ric case is getting rather tatty, and I'd prefer buying an inexpensive plastic hardshell case if my 4001 will fit.

    Thanks!

I just bought a cheapo ($59) "Johnson" case for my 4001 & it fit fine.

Cool! Is that a "fitted" case, or one of the ones with the open section for the body?

    Where did you find it?

Gabu was trying to keep non-offensive topics at the top during our little "attack" earlier today. The most current topics are listed on the main TB page, and he was attempting to keep our dirty laundry private.

It's not fitted, but a gener-o case I picked up at Spokane's "Rock City Music". Cheap & better than the gig bag I had.
