    Hey,

I am getting ready to install a set of removable amp casters on my 212av. I plan to drill holes for the internal sockets and was wondering if I need to remove the lower speaker, or if there is no issue so long as I am careful and use a correct-length (to the internal socket) drill bit?

    Thanks.

I would remove it just to be sure.

I fitted standard (non-removable) castors on my 212av with no issues. Just do it.

I wouldn't use those pop out type caters, they almost always end up failing with the caster coming off too easily. Get the type that slides off a plate laterally, instead.

Interesting - my B100r, and both PF115he cabs have the pop-out casters and I've had zero issues. I just upgraded to 3" wheels and it's even better.
