I am wondering if utilizing the CD in feature on my amp is damaging to the amp at all. I was thinking it might be playing frequencies which it was not designed for and that this might not be a good idea. I don't have any speakers for my computer and the amp produces a nice sound.

What do you think about using my amp essentially as a speaker setup? Also, any input as to why there is a lot of noise when I play my laptop through my amp while the laptop is plugged in (but not when it is running on battery power)?

    Thanks.
