Cerwin Vega BG 250; any info?

    A search on this forum shows a distinct lack of info on this head, and google isn't much better. Anyone have any experience with them? Would it still be a good choice today, or has the SS tech progressed so much that this would be an impractical dinosaur?

    Dinosaur, yes. I had one 1980ish, if you search here you'll find a pic. It clipped out quite quickly and was large and heavy compared to today's ss amps. I bought it to replace my Sunn concert bass, but wish I'd kept the Sunn at the time.:crying:
