You'd have to be on drugs to want peace, right?
Is that the part one would think implies drugs?
Wanting peace should be universal.
Expecting peace...well that may require drugs.
Very profound ....
I agree that there is no reference to drugs of any kind. It sounds a little cheesy maybe, but so what?
Of course there is no reference directly to drugs.
Context, stereotypes, funny observation by the OP that likely a fair majority of musicians would agree with.
To some, The Scarlett Letter is just a story of an unwed mother, shamed by her village.
Better than the one I saw the other day in CL Musicians. A guy looking for a PCP hookup.
Weed isn't the only drug you know... but thanks for the stereotype.
Just all the musicians I know that referred to themselves as a "visionary" had one thing in common.
They couldn't play to save their lives.
"special hungry" AKA "munchies"
Hey, @BassCliff aren't you on the road somewhere???
I always enjoy your road trips. Especially the food!
“Must have big ears and soul and move from one style to another with ease.. Yes it can be done because I'm the drummer that does it.”
So cool he can switch from thrash metal to foxtrot in the blink of an eye! And so deep, he can think to the bottom of the Marianas Trench! Where do I sign up to play with this Genius?
This Thread is demonstrating exactly how old and curmudgeonny this board is.
I've seen a ton of post in this thread that are smart-alecky. The judgmentalness is off the charts here. And the advertisement doesn't even say anything about drugs just a lot of judgment here by some old bitter people.
I mean there couldn't possibly be some weed smoking bass players that don't have the munchies all day, right?
I don't think my ears are big enough
I know that area. If I was there, I'd audition. Sounds like fun.
Based on the click bate thread title I was expecting a really wacky add.
I'd personally answer that one. Without so much pre-judgment.
Chance of drugs at audition maybe 20%. Considering it's a drummer chance of booze 30%.
Chance for dried salad 50% just because its AZ.
Oh dang that makes 100.
I'm not NOT licking toads................................
Haha, I misread the title of this thread at first glance.
Thought it was "Changes of drugs at the audition??".
And I was going to say, definitely do NOT change drugs at the audition - wait until you have the gig.
