    I'm not a pro .
Today my bass three way switch break so my pj is now stuck on p .
    I have two questions
    First
Can I change it with a knob style models like Ibanez basses ?

    Second
If I can't ,then can I use another switch and fix it myself instead of local shop ?

    Is wiring hard ?!

You want to switch to a pickup blend rather than a selector switch? It's possible, you need to find the right potentiometer for it, which can be a little tricky. Replacing the existing switch isn't hard if you already know how to solder? Wiring isn't all that hard once you understand the basics - it's a lot like plumbing lol, just a bunch of pipes that connect thingies that do things with the flow.

I also find with 3 way switches sometimes you just need to open it up and clean the switch contacts, you might not even need to solder.

I open it and the two things that let switch be on place both are break so actually my bass have low output.so I think it should replace.
Because now access to outside (latley even guitar center ban the website ),I should search locally .

The bass is passive ,it's Yamaha 415 .
It's 4 days off here after that I will go for replace it .
I will check blend knob too .
If I can replace it that much better because if it's like Ibanez that I can balance the pickups I think it can help a lot .
I will send some pic here soon .

I use to have a blend knob but switched it to a 3way switch. I like it a lot better. But that just my opinion. I hope you like the blend. Good luck.

I had some stressful news today .
The switch is fully broke but there is no available style of switch or knob.
I should wait so I can find a new one or we have to open from old ones .

Another option that might work is to get another volume pot and rewire the bass to have one volume for each pickup and a master tone much like a Jazz Bass.
