Changes in American Special models from 2010-now?

    Anyone know if they changed anything in the Am Special basses from 2010 to now? I think I remember something about the pickups getting upgraded? Not sure.

    I picked one up, and it was on clearance, has been hanging in GC here forever(since 2010), just wondering why they were on clearance when there's no apparent difference.

    I don't believe there's been any pickup change.
