    i'm planning to change my jazz bass tuning from EADG to BEAD, wat should i do?

    you should search this forum, there's plenty of info on the subject...

    different string gauges followed by intonation and nut slot adjustments are the three main things. Sometimes a trussrod tweak is required, but not usually.
