It's a P and J setup, right? Those are standard sizes. You
wanna' make sure you get a "bridge" model J.

Lotsa' companies makes P+J replacement sets -- Bartolini,
Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, EMG, RioGrande, to name
a few. It depends on what tone you're after / your style.

    You can "mix `n match" too...a Bart P and a DiMarzio J,
for instance. But you run the risk of a mis-match if one pup
    is hotter than the other.

I'm real happy with a DiMarzio Split P I put on my cheapie fretless.
    I figure a good J add-on would be a (d/m) Ultra-Jazz. It has the
same output as the Split P (even match). I think there's another
    TB'r with this setup.

    d'ohh! :p Welcome to TB

  3. But it is possible to cancel this out with resistors, although this will lower your total volume
