Changing Pickups in My Carvin LB76

I was just wondering if any one has any suggestions of what pickups I could put in my Carvin bass. You can see pics of it if you search my recent post (In the FS - bass section - I am thinking of selling it). Anyways, it's a humnbucker and j33 pickup setup. I like a real active musicman/fender jazz sound. Also is it harx to change a pickup - could I do it on my own with no prior experience?
