    Find cat hair?

I have dog hair in my Ric case from a dog that's been gone for 15 years or better. It always makes me smile when I see it.

    Sorry for your loss.

know what you mean, that was always a fun time for our old buddy Stanley, he loved to bite those old strings when they were dangling off the bass, he would also have to come and lick the new ones too. Miss that old cat.

Sorry for your loss. As a crazy cat person (my wife and I have 3, plus feed the neighborhood feral cats)... before moving to SC we had 5, lost one before the move, and one a few months ago.

It's hard, but you'll make it. Nows a great time to go to the nearest animal shelter and find a new friend.

Yes, as any cat-playing bass owner would know...er, bass-playing cat owner would know, the lil' darlins just love to play with the strings as you're changing them. Anything bright & shiny that dangles around in front of their faces is a temptation they simply can't resist.

Every cat person also knows that his/her little furry ones have their own special favorite play times. For my two critters, it's whenever I change the sheets on my bed. For some reason they love to jump up on the bed while I'm trying to lay down the clean sheets. Gotta shoo 'em off at least a half dozen times, and they keep jumping up there and rolling around, just to spite me.

Second most favorite play time would be on laundry day. They love nothing better than to cuddle up on a fresh pile of clean clothing, hot right out of the dryer.

I have a guitar case that still smells from when the family cat peed in it in 1965 or so.

Sorry dude. Losing a pet sucks.

  11. Heartfelt condolences.

The little critters play with our heart-strings all too well. Ahh that crazy look they get in their mischievous eyes!

Maybe posting a pic would help?

I lost 2 cats over the past few years. It is tough!

I now have 2 shih tzus that are the most spoiled dogs in Canada if not the world. It will be a very sad day when we have to put them down. I hope it never comes. Just thinking about it makes me choke, and they are still only young. 4 yrs and 3 yrs.

I'm sorry. As a cat rescuer myself I understand what you're going through. Thanks for giving your cat a loving home. When you're ready, the shelter will have another best friend waiting for you. I always find that adopting another and saving their life is the best departing gift an old can can give.
