    Strings:
    8
    Location:
    Maine
    For Sale Only:
Just six months old this NS/Stick is in like-new condition. It can be tapped like a conventional Chapman Stick or plucked/strummed like a bass/guitar. To me it's like having a double-neck bass/guitar on one neck, and it has perhaps the best pure bass tone I've ever heard. Ash body, bamboo neck, black pearl dot markers. Includes: NS/Stick padded gig bag; NS/Stick strap; 15' stereo cable.

    Price:
$1800 shipped to US Lower 48 only. Payment by PayPal only.

    NS/Stick Details:
8-string stereo multi-mode instrument, a collaboration between Emmett Chapman (creator of the Stick) and Ned Steinberger. Designed for optimized two-handed tapping, and conventional guitar and bass techniques, this instrument incorporates a number of ideas from both The Stick (tapping frets) and the Steinberger bass (knee rest and headless design), as well as some completely new ideas, like a patented retractable damper and side-saddle bridge and nut height adjustment screws.

    Scale length 34" (86.4cm)
    String spacing at bridge 4 melody strings .450" (11.43mm), 4 bass strings .590" (14.98mm),
