Charlie Brown theme?

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by Alex, Dec 4, 2005.

  1. Can anyone tab (or write out in sheet music if you have a program that does that) the snoopy theme song for me? I hope you all know what I'm talking about. I have a solo bass gig coming up, and I thought I should pick up some cute stuff like that. Crowd pleasers ;) If you tab, tab for 6 string if there is anything out of 4 string range. Thanks, ya'll :bassist:

  2. Stu Hamm site

Look under "The Urge" for Quahogs Anyone." That's it (the Linus and Lucy Theme).

  3. sweet. :hyper: I haven't played it yet (Damn you biology!) but is that like an arrangement or a straight transcription?

Alot of the stuff on that web page looks cool, are there clips of those songs somewhere?

I'm a BIG Stu Hamm fan and I studied many of his tunes, "Linus & Lucy" arrangement among them. I did my own transcription of the song, both in standard notation and tablature. If you're interested, let me know your e-mail address and I'll send you a copy. I also did a home recording of that, which you can hear in my website (well, it's sort of a mini-medley of Stu Hamm songs). :)

  5. Could anyone tab the beginning lead signature piano parts for me?

Did you download the file I sent you? The beginning (measures 1 to 16) is the same piano intro of "Linus & Lucy". What's wrong with it? Let me know so I may help you.

That's some pretty amazing playing man :)

  8. That part is fine, but I mean the high piano part that goes over that. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Go to Tabit.com, look up Stu Hamm...the bass tab is there...it's two handed tapping, you'll see the "high piano" part tabbed over the lower part simultaneously...you play the low part tapping with your left hand, and tap the high part at the same time with your right hand...excellent excercise in coordination!

  10. The page that I got was like an webpage supplier website.

Sorry, the Mac "Widget" I use to access the site is called tabit, the actual site is www.Ultimate-Guitar.com. Here's the actual link to the printable version:
Stu Hamm's Linus and Lucy Bass Tab

Hope that works better, good luck!
