I was in one of my local shops today and found a sweet neck-thru Charvel 4 banger today that felt great. There was nothing on there saying where it was made and the serial number was imbedded on the last fret. It started with a "C" and had 6 numbers following. It had the mid-90's "Gumby-style" headstock.

I couldn't find anything on the Jackson site. Anyone with any info, please let me know.

    Thanx in advance.

ya the c+first digit on the NT-MIJ models meant the year.

although I always see jackson branded gumby heads, and never one that had charvel written on it...

meaning if it said jackson it would have a J+xxxxxx.

OP said 90's gumby head, and ya I forgot about those in 1991, if he would have said lipstick or hollow...etc, then ya I would have remembered.

I totally forget those heads, I always remember the "other" 2x2 head that looks unusual like on the JJ basses, and all the newer concert stuff. :(
