  1. One of my friend's brother is selling his 5 string P charvel, I'm more of a J man myself, but it's better than a Harmony..lol

Anyway, he paid $400 for it from a pawn shop, so new it must have cost about $700 or so. I might get it from him for $140, not sure, it's a big mess.

So basicly, i might get it today, might not.

Just wondering what you guys think of Charvel ? I'm not much of a fan..but like I said, hella-better than my current bass.

I have a $99 pawnshop Charvel 5 string, bolt-on it looks alot like the Jackson Phil Collen sig guitar. Dual Js w/ preamp - it plays quite well considering and growls like no other bass I own.

But I pretty much stick to the Lakland and the Stingrays

I once had impure thoughts. Oh, and I pluck my ear hair.
    Outrageously angled headstock, right? ;)

Well, just keep in mind that the Charvel you're buying may well have been produced after Hondo (or whoever the hell owns Hondo) bought them, so you'll essentially be paying 140 bones for a Hondo. Is that really better than a Harmony?

    May I suggest an Essex?
  4. Id wait for the sadowsky.. arent your graduating this month? or have I been out of the loop for a while..
