http://cgi.ebay.ie/LINDO-ii-Series-...al_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item33614d0cbe Dosen't look bad, but that pickup is far too close to the bridge for a single pickup bass, IMO.
"It features a selector switch to go from the bridge pick-up to the middle." Am I missing something, or does that not make a whole lot of sense.
I wouldn't say "why clone a clone" b/c let's face it, there is a VERY small contingent of truly original ideas out there (and that does look wonky as he!! w/that pickup placement). What I would say is why would you buy this when you could be a little patient and come across a used ATK for not much more ca$h. Just my opinion.
The ATKs arent just stingray clones. They get a good stingray sound but they do a lot more than that. I think the big issue is why bother when the ATKs arent that much lol
Heck, room for 3 more! You could easily add a 2nd almost up to the one that's there, and make a poor man's Sadowsky Modern.
True. I really don't see the position being that much of a problem. I see other basses with similar pickup location. For example: http://cgi.ebay.com/HAMER-VEL-4-STR...E-/270643609295?pt=Guitar&hash=item3f039dbecf
