Do these take the standard Fender neck size.

Also, where in Illinois are you located? If I want to buy these, we could save on shipping if we're close enough.

    The
I’m in the Springfield area. I’ve got a fender neck I’m using for a build at home so I will see how it fits with each body. My assumption would be the fender style PJ would be a better fit than the Yamaha and Ibanez. I’ll let ya know when I get a chance to check

Don't bother on my account. Upon further consideration I think these won't be that useful for my needs.

  5. Great deal here!! Nice looking bodies!!!
Yamaha might take a 21--22 fret but move your bridge back--- great projects.

There is a Yamaha J/J config that seems like solid wood and a no name P/J config that looks to be some super light ply

I'd be interested in finding out is that PJ will accept a Fender neck, if you happen to get a chance. It might work nicely for a project I've been wanting to do.

I will see how the Fender neck fits, take measurements of the pocket and get a weight this evening

So... Did you take the measurements of the neck pocket and weight of the PJ Fender style body?

    Sorry for the delay guys.

The P/J neck pocket Comes in at right about 2 3/8ths wide and 19mm deep which is a bit narrow and deep compared to my fender body. Length is the same at a hair over 3 3/4
Weighs in at 2.9lbs so it is extremely lightweight

    Yamaha weighs in at 4.1lb.

Thank you. The measurements sound pretty close. Did you try and place the fender neck on the pj by any chance? I'll purchase if it fits.

The Yamaha looks like a BB 404. Did your Fender neck fit that?
