Cheap christmas gifts?

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by jrthebassguy, Dec 3, 2004.

  1. Here's the deal: Both my brother and my sister bought my parents christmas gifts, and I'm going to look like a total chump if I don't get them anything. But here's the deal...I have, at most, about 15 dollars to spend total.

I missed out on the temporary seasonal jobs so I'm pretty much broke as a joke right now, and 15 dollars is the max I can spend, and maybe a little more if I absolutely have to.

    Help appreciated.

Buy them something that they'll definitely use....like toilet paper.

Fer real though...I think you'd be way better at picking something for your parents than we would seeing as we know nothing about them. How about a CD that they'd both like or a DVD or something. Maybe some edible underwear.

Looks like it's time for you to hit up the dollar store!

You can buy alot of stuff there for $15. Just remind mom and dad that it's the thought that counts as you hand them their own eyeglass repair kits, and other assorted pieces of garbage for $1 each. :D

Get them a card and a bottle of Yellowtail Merlot (or whatever they like) and leave it at the nice thought level.

How about making your own present instead of just buying one...

Buy a gift card for the movie theatres or something.
  19. Books of photos can go over well, but I think they usually are out of your price range.

Computer games they have been interested in?

    Music they like?

Flowers? (for mom, but hey, it's a new century, guys can get flowers too, right? Right?)

    Cool stuffed animal?

    Funny shirts?

    Hooby stuff?

    Rock on
