Check out my first Bass

    My first bass!
    Took me a couple of months, but I finally found a
    Bass at entry level cost, not entry level Quality.
    I Liked the Godin Freeway but wanted to spend a bit less, RBX had a nice action for my smallish hands but the bridge looked like a soup can lid. LOL
    I was almost set on an SR300DX until I stumbled across this RD 707 Early 90s vintage with a few nicks and scratches. Less to worry about! Love
    the neck, PUs are nice and the pots are A1.
    Nice heavy bridge too, Gotoh tuners . Bass was
    MIJ. New price was about $800. I got this one for $ 70 less than a new SR 300DX ,I'll be keeping this one for a while.

    Verry nice... the P/J config should definatly serve you well. One thing though... [personal opinion] you should swap those knobs with something else... I've played basses with those type of knobs and I hated the feel [/personal opinion]. But hey, if you like them, go for it. Congrats on a sweet looking bass! :cool: Rock on! :bassist:
