    I am new to the forums but I figured this would be the place to show off some new gear so let me know what you think.
    This Bass Features:
    A custom built Alder body made by hand by me.
    Hand built 21 Fret maple neck with Figured birdseye maple finger board.
    Neck is attached to body with 1/4 inch machine bolts(no stripping out neck holes anymore).
    Sadowsky Humcancelling PJ
    Aguilar OBP-1 Active Pre-amp
    Hipshot Ultralight tuning machines
    Schaller Roller Bridge
    Bone Nut
    Rolling String Tree
    Both the neck and body are satin finished Nitro Cellulose Lacquer

    Gfried, the bass is sweet except for the joint where the neck connects to the body. For future basses find a way to make that a bit slimmer. This is especially true if you want to sell basses. :)

    Hey guys thanks for checking out the bass. Dr. Cheese I know what your thinking about the heel but if you noticed, the horn is scooped away. I have made another bass previously where I carved the heel down but I found that with making the scoop improves access to the frets greatly. The scoop is much deeper than it appears in the picture.
    Any way thanks for looking and I appreciate the complements and criticism. You guys seem to have a good idea about what you like with basses so let me know about any suggestions so I can try it on my next project.
