I have a bad back, and after getting sick of sitting down to play shows, I invented this puppy... I call it "The Backsaver" :)

It's basically a cymbal stand with a specially fabricated attachment for a bass guitar, complete with foam padding so it doesn't scratch the finish.

Wow, you actually did that math?!

Only reason I know these is I'm looking at a potential gig requiring acoustic guitar and bass duties.

I looked at Gracie stands before I made this - they can't angle an instrument up that far, like an upright..... 45 degrees max!

An stealing a cymbal stand from a drummer is a lot easier anyways! :D

Alright then, look like you got the better product anyway ;)

I'm probably gonna be picking up a Gracie for acoustic anyway, but awesome work man!

BTW, nice ink. Did it hurt there? I've been thinking about the same exact thing in the same place.

Haha.... well, I actually stole this from a defunct drumset that old band's drummer abandoned in my basement like 10 years ago, but yeah, it works great :)

As far as the tattoo, yeah, it hurt like a MOFO for about two or three days, but I think it was worth it :)

When I saw the "Bad Back" reference, I was hoping you'd invented a speaker cab that has it's own robotic legs and can walk up and down stairs by itself....... and if tplyons can link me to the one that already exists, i'll take two!
