Yet another bass to be filed under "Basses I'll Never Own"
"...but would love to."
W O W
quel wood was used?
Spalt maple. It's cool looking, but too furniture-y in my opinion.
Yeah it is pretty furniture like... if i bought that bass, i'd probably glue coasters to it...
I personally feel they shouldn've used Wenge....
A Bad week for your GAS Attack ain't it BW
No thanks to you, DM!
Anyway, My Minidisc recorder arrived today and my loop station should be coming in on monday, so that'll provide some relief.
Actually, as much as I think it's a pretty bass, the bridge and control knobs stand out too much. I think they actually detract from the wood.
Maybe it's just me...
No, I agree especially the bridge. TUners too.
With chrome or gold hardware. . .!!
Also the plain maple fingerboard looks pretty drab in comparison to the body. Can anyone say cocobolo?
Has sorta this wooded, twisted vine, "Lord Of the Rings" look...
i dunno maybe its just me...
i like the top, i like the fingerboard, i like the controls, i like the hardwear, and id like it even more if it was a 5er
I think I'll have to second that
i think an all black FRETLESS neck would work well considering the bridge. however, the pickup covers would also have to be black. i think that combination could work
but thats just me, and what do i know?
I like it. I'll agree with the bridge thing.
It looks like it was censored.
That bridge is definitely wrong for that bass... You've got these beautiful wood covers for the pickups and then a huge chunk of black metal at the end of the body. Something's not right about that.
Now with a cocobolo board and gold/chrome hardware, that would be one of the nicest basses I've ever seen.
I want to lick it
