Wasn’t sure where to put this. I'm just so happy with this company I have to share this bit with talkbass. I have a stingray5. It is a great bass. However, like many mass produced basses. My ray has had some problems. For instance, right before a gig (as if it could happen at any other time  my nut broke. Called Ernie Ball customer service, and got a new one sent out just in time. Recently I got an old lithium battery stuck in my bass. (the battery is 5 months old now) I just know anyday it will die on me. I emailed Ernie Ball and next week here is a new battery box. FREE under warranty. They paid for shipping too! Sorry for the long post. I just find it rare that customer service at any company does such a great job. Especially to the bass players who are not on the a,b, or c or any list like myself.

    Cheers to Ernie Ball

I've just scored a job with the Australian importer of Ernie Ball and MM. I start in 2 weeks.

I'm gonna print this post and stick it above my desk as a constant reminder that it pays to look after your customers :)

  3. That is good to hear! Cheers!!:D

Congrats, Pete!!! Hope your new job treats you well!!! :) Just make sure they know that you can't work on Fri. and Sat nights.

    ;)

  4. I know one of Ernie Ball's grandsons (Casey Ball) and Ernie Ball's Son (Sterling Ball) and they are great people and help a lot, so I can see how their customer service is very good :D I'll tell Casey and Sterling that you are happy with their Customer Service next time I see them! Peace ~ Tyler

EB customer service is great. Even being apart of the Street Team is pretty nice if i do say so myself. As for the StingRay-i think that name is Leo's creation [musicman]. That's all

I dig that all those proceeds from the HD series went to the Casey Lee Ball Foundation. That's heart, baby.

  9. Weird, I talk to Casey everyday and he never mentioned anything about that, what was it for?

When the HD series (210/212/410) didnt' go over well on the market, they sold them all on E-bay, and the profits wen to the Casey Lee Ball Foundation.

  11. Oh, when you mentioned it I guessed it was probably about his kidney condition. Just wasn't sure because he never mentioned anything about it.

Not on purpose-i was saying that Leo back when MusicMan was just that-no Ernie Ball. The stingray was developed/invented and thus he/musicman came up with the stingray name rather than StingRay being developed by EB.
