Searching for an upright bassist versatile in the rockabilly slap style of playing. The band performs music from the early 1950's (Bill Haley, Joe Turner, Joe Houston, Chuck Berry, etc). No Elvis or Buddy Holly, no Beatles or Roy Orbison.

The band was fully functional for 10 years, performing at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender in 2009, Good Guys Hot Rod Shows through out the midwest, plenty of outdoor events, club events and private events. We also did 5 Ultimate DooWop shows backing the original 1950's & 1960's stars. In May 2012, we had the honor of being the backing band for 1950's sax legend Big Jay McNeely at the fabulous Mayne Stage in Chicago.

The band has been idle for 5 years and we are starting it back up.

There are plenty of videos on the web of us performing when we were called the Crown Vics (someone has taken the name so we are now called the Jitter Bums)

We have a lead vocalist, guitarist, 3 sax players and drummer...just need a bassist. Rehearsals are a must for the next 6 months (every other Monday evening) after that, just when needed.
