There are quite a few books of transcriptions of John Patitucci available - he's one of the best Jazz bassists around, if we knew exactly what he was doing, we would all be gigging with Wayne Shorter!! ;)

    Here's a good book :

[IMG], which you can buy here :

There are a few free transcriptions scattered about the web - like these :

    John Patitucci
    "Miniature #3- Still Life"

PS You could have found all of this, from a simple search on google...? :meh:

I remember a book with an entire record transcribed, even the drums. Piano, horn, bass even had John's solos. It was really nice. Can't remember who published it.

The band itself is not called Chick Korea Electric Band. Elektric Band (notice the "k" in elektric) is the name of the album. You can find it on Amazon.

Oops :bag: On the CD that I've got it says: "Chick Korea Elektric Band: Beneath the mask" Why? To make me look like a fool? :eyebrow:

And about the "k".. I'm not a native speaker (as you can see) so I hope you try to tolerate these small mistakes that I make.. :smug:

Anyway, thanks for te information :bassist:

  11. Actually guys his name is Chick Corea :)

I know that the guy is called Chick Korea, so I thought that it would be a natural thing that his band is called "Chick Korea Elektric Band"

  13. But he isn't called Chick Korea ...... it's Chick Corea.

    C not K !

  14. As an example .............. see attached.

BTW Bruce is right about that book ........... excellent.
I also have the Elektric Band book somewhere but I don't think it has tab.

    Sorry, I can't write :(

You seem to be mad at me, there's no reason for that! :/

  16. No not mad.

Just surprised at the rolling eyes when I pointed out the mistake.

    :)
