I have recently become the owner of a Kustom Groove 1200hd amp that I got for a great price and I want to take full advantage of the 1200 watt output at 2 ohms. I'm thinking two cabs would be the way to go so I'm looking at 4 ohm loads from each. Would a 18" or 15" cab plus a 2x10" cab be ideal? I was looking at a combo of a Carvin 1x18 and a 2x10. I'm going for an aggressive sound but with low end punch. I'm not a fan of mids if that gives you an idea of what I'm going for. I'm just getting into playing bass (recently switched from drums) and my band is looking to gig shortly with the new line up so any help you guys can give would be most appreciated. Thanks.
