    I build and modify basses
Here's a video of Chris Squire's Rickenbacker before he refinished it. This is when he had it covered in contact paper. It was an old 4001s fireglo. Notice he made a binding like material around the edges.

Also notice the headstock with the faux binding and string tree.

Tony Banks, the original keyboardist. Peter Banks, no relation, was the original guitarist. Tony returned in different incarnations, Peter never did. Peter Banks went on to form Flash, a pretty cool band in its own right. The only time I ever saw Peter Banks live was in Flash.

EDIT: Sorry, I had a brain freeze. Tony Kaye was the original Yes keyboardist. Tony Banks was on keys for Genesis.

Thanks, very cool. And, what a unique bass tone and playing style. It really comes through in this video.

Great link, and then I spent the next 90 min looking at Peter Banks vids, and the whole story of his post-yes life. facinating stuff, as I started my Yes journey with Fragile.
