Is this the first sign that the vintage rage is over? Let's see, time to buy an alembic?
  10. Yeah, a 70's vintage Series 1 long scale! :D

    Thanks everyone. :bassist:

    Chris is a monster player!
Tonewise, this bass was made to have that
great vintage heart, with some extra growl.
Then the added plus, of all the little things
that make an instrument comfortable and
    easy to play.

I will work on that soon. ;)

Everyone should go see Medeski, Martin & Wood live!
It will change the way you play bass! :bassist: :bassist:

Cliff, is that a shorter scale instrument? It kind of looks 32-33" to me. Very nice. 4-strings for me.

Agreed. I've never seen anybody approach their instrument(s) like him except for Reed Mathis. Innovative with a capital I.
    Sweet basses CB!
  15. I dig CB stuff- wish I could afford one AND all my other basses...
I wonder if Cliff would do an endorsement w/a no-name non-pro from Podunk...
    ...'cause that is ME! :D

It's a 34" scale, the bridge is further back on the body than
a Fender, which brings the nut closer to your left hand.
