In adition to bass, I'm a beer lover..

Samuel Adams Old Fezziwig Ale isn't too bad...

Looking for Corsendonk Christmas Ale & Anchor 'Our Special Ale 2005'. I love Schneider Aventinus during the holidays. Though not really a "Christmas" beer, its flavors of clove and nutmeg/fruitcake spice definitely make it taste 'Christmasy'.

    So what is/are your favorite(s)??

Doubleblack from Red Hook. It was a really dark beer with a couple shots of Starbucks espresso in it. It is no longer being produced, so I can only remember how good it was. :(

Young's has some good stuff!! I like their "Old Nick" barleywine and the "Dirty Dicks Ale".. Gotta admit the DC Stout was more than I could take.. Not because it was a stout (love those) but because it was like drinking an melted chocolate bar!!! LOL!!

We have similar tastes Mark. I always enjoy the Anchor Steam Xmas and the Corsendonk. Cosendonk Brown Ale is one of my all time favs. I cant think of any other xmas ones Ive tried and liked. I think Pete's Wicked made one, but I wasnt fond of it. Blue Moon also makes a pumpkin ale thats good and available around the holidays I believe.

What better way to ring in the holidays than with a nice tall bottle of Colt 45 :D

Sam Adam's "Winter Lager" is very good. Another non Christmas specific beer, but very close to Fezziwig with its flavor. You can definitely taste cinnamon, orange, and ginger.

I have been meaning to try that.

Same. Maredsous 8 is my all time favorite, but I like any of the monk made belgians hehe. I figure if they are making beer for god, even not being a religeous person, I figure they do their very best :)

And I think your the only other person I know who has even tried Maudite. Thats good stuff, but a little strong taste wise I think for me.

Mmmm...somebody said Anchor Steam. I used to like the Sam Adams White Ale, but I haven't seen it in years :meh:
The Celebration Ale from Sierra Nevada works for me - it's Super hoppy.

a little off topic: has anybody had the chance to try or has anybody ever seen Sam Adams Utopias!!!??? It's the strongest beer ever to my knowledge - it's like 25% alcohol.

Can't believe thats not a barely wine with a content that high, but just looked it up. I may have to get me some. Allthough I havent tried a Sam Adams I liked yet. Usually too hoppy for me, and I prefer very malty beers. Their tripple-bock was awefull. Tasted like mollasses.
