so i went to the local guitar center about 2 hours ago, and i came home the proud owner of a Spector 5'er, beutiful natural finish body, EMG's, and a contoured body, ah, im in love, ok, so onle down side is my amp is 300 miles north of me right now..... pictures and all that jazz later
ok, yeah, picture time its a Spector Euro ReBop, EMG-HZs, passive electronics, 24fret, natural finish with oiled 3 peice rock maple neck
I played one of those one time, but I showed it to my dad, and he didnt like it because the bridge was plastic, so I went with the Fender MIM standard jazz V.
The bridge isn't plastic. It is just a thick black coating on it. It doesn't seem to wear off easily, either (which is good.) Spectors are awesome
Nice bass mate, like the look of the finish, and the neck inlays are pretty cool too! Enjoy the new bass.
thanks guys, yeah the bridge is machined aluminum covered in a thick textured powder coating, and yeah, the inlays are one of my favorite cosmetic parts
