Christmas Gift Idea (for me)...What do you think of this packaged deal from GC?

I usually hang out over in the amps forum, but am asking my parents for some recording gear this year. I was thinking of having them get me this deal from Guitar Center, it's the first item on the page. I know the PreSonus TubePre is a good mic preamp, as well as a good bass preamp (some bassplayers swear by them!). But is the AKG Perception 100 a good condenser mic? It says the frequency response is from 20hz-20khz, which is pretty much the spectrum of human hearing. Would it make a good vocal mic for recording, as well as a bass cab, guitar cab, & drum mic? Both of these usually go for $100 or more seperately, so it should be a good deal. I also have some old preamp tubes in case the stock one in the PreSonus sucks.

Would this be good for someone who's just starting into the world of recording?
