  1. I just wanted to share this sublime version of “Oh, Holy Night” from the gifted voice of Grey DeLisle-Griffin.

    Share your favourites too please.

I'm not much of a Christmas guy, but these I can handle...
Big Chicago fan, but this track is the only one from their Christmas albums I care for...

Brian Setzer's Christmas stuff just rock...

  10. The best Christmas song ever, IMHO. I make sure to listen to it at least once a year. Such a great message, even today.

If you don’t know him, James Morrison is an Australian wunderkind trumpeter who plays *many* instruments at a virtuosic level. On this album he’s supported by the Ray Brown Trio with Benny Green on piano and Jeff Hamilton on drums—plus a cracker of a German big band. This is my favourite Christmas album *ever*. It can be hard to find as a CD and shouldn’t be confused with his other Christmas records. It’s on Apple music if you have that service. Check out “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” in big band swing off the top with a stratospheric trumpet solo, then Ray’s tasty solo bass opening on “God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen”. Spectacular record.

Simple, great harmonies. Originally done by Roger Miller.

    —Both great—
    U-Men - Blue Christmas
Jimi Hendrix - little drummer boy (can’t find a link on YouTube gotta go elsewhere)

Then Some ting yang twins, snoop dog and -Easy E-

Most everything else isn’t very tolerable
