Hey, it's strung a bit early but the spalted maple "Plume" bass some of you noticed in the building thread is almost done!

here are a couple of pics:

    Specs as follow:
    walnut body
    splted maple top
    wenge J-Neck
    wenge board
    ABM bridges
    Gotoh tuners
    Crel J pickups
    E-Pro BTB-01 preamp

This one may stay with me....

    Peace, JP

WOW! Really like this one, much more than the other one, though I don't know why, as I am not all that crazy about spalted maple, but it just sits well with the overall shape IMHO. Great work :)

    I...I think I'm sexually aroused now! ;)

Very nice bass. I'd just keep that one. tell the customer it was lost in a fire...your burning desire...

No pics of the headstock for the moment.

Crel pickups have a very old site http://perso.wanadoo.fr/crel

The prices are false! the guy who builds them has now a new business, as an online dealer and he makes less and less pickups. I have to wait about 3 to 4 weeks for them!!!
