chrome pitting

    idk if this belongs here, but can i use just normal guitar polish to avoid pitting ont he control plate of my jbass? the air around here is really salty...if that makes any sense whatsoever

    Frankly, I'm not too sure you can do much about it. I'm an hour from you and I just wipe with a clean rag. I don't use any cleaners on my chrome.
