Hi, I have a badass II bass bridge in Chrome, the question is this...Q. Is there any spray paint you can buy designed for turning chrome/steel hardware into a Black finish? the reason i'm asking is for cheapness, but it must look good.

You can paint it black. I doubt the paint will stick very well.

    BBQ paint MIGHT work.

Try sanding the chrome or polished steel down a bit so its rough and not shiny anymore. Then paint it. Doing this, the paint will stick better to the improved grip of the metal from it being ridgy and not smooth.

After sanding down, go to Home Depot and get some spray paint made for metal. It will stick better. I still don't know how well though. To color metal parts you really need plating or powder coating.
