I ran into a bass legend on yesterday (Chuck Rainey) while out shopping with my wife.

Great picture of the both of you guys....he looks good and like he is in good health. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Bass Day in NYC a few years ago and he was a real gentleman.

He is a super nice guy to talk to. We talked about his recovery, he joked about being able to play a country western gig. He can't play at optimum speed yet.

Awesome. I met him last year at BNC - he is a really sweet guy. Hope to see him again next month.

To the OP, what Walmart was that? I used to live in DFW.

  13. So glad to see he's getting better!. I met him at a clinic he did at Berklee in 1992. Super nice guy and such an inspiration.

Oh, you lucky guy. I would like to shake hands with him to see if maybe 1/10% of some of his talent might rub off.

Chuck is great guy, I met him at NAMM a few years ago..just a great soul and overall good person. I probably wouldn't have bothered him at Wal Mart but I bet he didn't mind.
