Post some pics.
Recently finished my first cigar box guitar, came out very nice. So much fun to play! At some point when I find the right box, I'll probably try a 30" scale jobber.
Mine a full scale. I'll post a pic later that works.I can't from my phone
here it is
Very cool! How's it sound?
Way fun - but unless bracing has been added to the box I would 'think' it might break pretty easy? How does it sound and does it have a pickup inside?
Do you have to wear a diving mask with that?
its braced inside with oak for weight. it T braced to support the neck and the bridge and routered for percise thickness. i was going to channel it to add lead weight in it but its very well balanced.
it sounds unique kinda hollowbodish. esp with abg strings on it. i have d,s phosperous bronzes on it. hate the string noise. i just ordered galli coated strings for it.i built it because i want to get a abg but i didnt have the funds for the one i wanted. so i got some spare parts and may have 100. into this.i will dig up more pics
here is a few more
Well I put on galli nylon tapewounds on. It sounds amazing.
So what does everyone think.
I want one. Very cool.
From one box bassist to another, I salute you. Nice work!
Your "art/craft box" one is the best Ronald!
