Not to long from now I'm going to be buying the wood for my first bass project. The plan as of now is to go for a Peavy Cirrus type style. Though, as much as I have searched, I have yet to find what the neck is made of. It looks as if it is made of rosewood and maple, but I could be mistaken. Anyone care to fill me in?

P.S. I will definately keep everyone updated with the progress of the bass once it is started. Wish me luck.

  2. This is pre-custom shop info, but I'm pretty sure they're all maple/walnut except(the one I have :) )the flamed maple topped cirrus which has a purpleheart and birdseye maple neck.

    www.peavey.com didn't give any specs?

Thanks much. I've been looking for the make up of that bass neck for forever.
