Cirrus Serial No.

    Hi, I'm just wondering if there's any way to decode the serial number on the headstock of my peavey cirrus. I'd like to know when it was manufactured, if there is indeed such information in the serial number.

    If it's not in the serial number...then take the neck off..it seems alot of mamafacturers put the dates on the neck for the neck and the body for the body (when each was built)...like my SR has 10 March 01 on each...

    EDIT: Unfortunatly I checked the forum AFTER I had taken the neck off. :eek: :p
