    Hello,
After playing a five-string Cirrus at a local shop, I have been convinced this is the best value available in basses. It has that high-end feel and sound, at a very good price, but everyone here knows that. I'm actually going to order one in about a month or so, and I'm getting a 4 string, but I don't know whether to go for Maple or Bubinga. Could everyone tell me your preferences between the two, aesthetically and tonally.

That thread gives quite a bit of info about your question.
