Short Scale Fretless bass guitar made from old squier strat. The action is low, the bass has a Jaco like tone with a little thump and it's got that vintage worn look. The bass plays great after I shimmed the neck. Best offer takes it! I've already had a few people interested.

Names & locations changed to protect the innocen...the guilty...

That’s a whole lotta work to make a trainwreck. ‘Jaco’ tone with Gibson electronics? Whew, get off the pipe.

Yeah...I'm having a hard time imagining how that's possible...but you gotta love the V/T control placement. Nothing screams "ergonomically correct" like under the strings :roflmao:

You have to wonder how many edits the seller went through, before deciding on the final submission.

Where is the knob for the G string tuner? Is it that thing stuck on the back of the body?

It's on the right side of the head. It's blending into the doorknob.

I hadn't noticed that, either! What a beautiful, delicate angle the string takes after gracefully passing thru the tree...:roflmao:

I am sure I would sound like Jaco if I only had such a fine instrument

Did something sorta similar in the late 70's when I was a young teen. Took an old busted acoustic guitar, made a new nut and bridge saddle and turned it into a short scale acoustic bass so a guitarist friend and I could sit in the park and play acoustic versions of Rush and ZZ Top songs. Ah, to be young and innocent... and also maybe not so smart. (But it seemed like a good idea at the time!) As I recall that "instrument" ended up in a beach bonfire.
