CL Toronto: Early Fender '62 J reissue, $800

Sounds like a scam. I emailed him...seller is on a military base, needs to sell ASAP, wants to use third party payment system (clickandbuy).

Oh, absolutely a scam. It's the same cookie-cutter conversation, requests, instructions...heck even the ADDRESS is the same!

I emailed and got the same response-

The fender is new and under warranty .The reason I am selling it, is because I am in the military and my unit will be sent for a mission that will take 6 months and I don't want to keep it .I am selling it so low because I need to sell it before May 5 th.

I already have tons of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out and I hope you won't make me loose time as it has already happened to me. If you will decide to buy it I am willing to pay for the shipping costs . If you are still interested e-mail me back .

what tipped me off, was that the ad was for an '83, yet his response said it was "new and under warranty"
