    I really like Kenwood Dennard. If you ever want to hear some completely over-the-top fusion drumming from a guy who combines incredible feel with huge ears (he's so evidently listening to everyone in the band and both reacting and provoking them) and an awareness of seemingly ever metric subdivision available at any/all times, check out his playing on Pat Martino's Joyous Lake. Which, if I'm not mistaken, was Kenwood's recording debut!

    Sco and Jaco ain't too shabby either. :)
