Classic 'Ray Incoming next week! Questions...

    So I've ordered a classic stingray and it should be in next week (lord help me). Anyway, these basses are string through body only as I understand it.

    Call me crazy but I'm interesting in tuning it to standard B :bag: Would the 'E' string ferrule accompany at least .130 'B' ? If not, any idea as to what the thickest gauge could be?

    all the ferrules are the same size, so there should be no problem there. you will have to file the nut a bit to accomodate the larger guage strings.

    Just to confirm since I forgot to mention it: this is the 4 string model I've got, not the 5 string.

    Seriously!? cool thx! I'd been sweating bullets thinking that the ferrules got progressively smaller from E-G

    IME, I have never seen this done on any bass. every time i've seen a bass with string-thru the ferrules were all the same size.
