Hey there, new to the forum. I have a MIK 89 Squier P-Bass, that I'm doing some stuff to. I placed a bid on eBay on a 50s Classic Vibe bridge (buying into the whole High-Mass thing). My question is, do you think the bridge for the 50s CV P-Bass is the same one they put on the 60s CV P-Bass (which mine is obviously more similar to)?

They are the same plate used on all the CV's. They are wider than a standard Fender P bridge and slightly wider string spacing at the bridge: like a Jazz spacing with the old style threaded saddles and having the strings lined up over the pole pieces; wider than an MIA P. I would more call the bridges "medium mass". don't spend too much!!

I've used those bridges on a few projects. If you watch the classifieds here they pop up semi often. I wouldn't pay more than $20 shipped or so. Theyre great, cheap bridges.
